How does the AcuHerb™ program work?
Here’s the quick summary:
- You purchase a starter kit of herbal patent formulas.
- After each AcuGraph® exam the software recommends the appropriate herbal formula(s).
- You send the herbs home with your patient.
- As you use up your supply, the herbs you use are automatically replenished, so you always have stock on hand. We only replace what you have already used, so you won’t stockpile unnecessary inventory. Shipping on all re-orders is always a flat €15, regardless of the size of your re-order!
- Your patients benefit from taking the herbs, and your practice benefits from selling them.
What does it cost?
The short answer is: It pays a whole lot more than it costs.
Providing your patients with appropriate herbal formulas has powerful positive effects on their care—and on your bottom line. The recommended retail price for each bottle of herbs is €15.95, and your wholesale cost is only €7.50. You can’t get any simpler than that!
If the average patient gets 2 bottles, you add an extra€17.90 to your bottom line on each patient visit. And as a practitioner, you already know how quickly that adds up over the course of a month or a year.
The initial investment to stock your dispensary is €910, which you should recoup in approximately two and a half weeks. This provides the starter inventory of 130 bottles of herbs, worth over €2073. The herbs are arranged by popularity so you’ll have plenty of the most popular formulas on hand, and fewer of the less popular formulas, allowing you to maximize the value of your inventory investment.
As you deplete your initial stock you’ll receive automatic shipments from our warehouse to keep your stock replenished to original levels. You’ll never run out, and always have on hand exactly what you need—without expensive excess inventory, and without any need to prepare orders, call them in, handle invoices, or count bottles.
What about herbs expiring on my shelf?
These formulas are very well manufactured and typically have expiration dates several years in the future. We guarantee that all bottles you receive will be at least one year from expiration.
What additional requirements are there?
For this program to work as it is designed, you must have an Internet connection while you’re using the AcuGraph® software. Every time you prescribe herbs to your patients, the software notifies our server and your next order preparation begins. You must also keep up to date with the latest versions of the software. New releases of the software will be made available for download on our internet servers.
What herbal formulas will I be using? Who makes them?
We believe it’s important to know with whom you’re dealing, especially when it comes to the herbal formulas you dispense in your practice. We’re proud to provide the following facts about the formulas we’re recommending.
We’ve integrated the Tanglong collection of ancient herbal patent formulas into the AcuHerb™ software. These herbs are grown, processed, tested and packaged by Gansu Corporation at the largest and most modern herb manufacturing facility in China. Gansu owns its own land and grows its own raw herbs, thus ensuring the absolute highest standards and freedom from contamination from seed to sale. Using these high-quality herbs as raw materials, and ancient Chinese formulas as prescriptions, Gansu produces pure and potent, concentrated 750mg tablets, thus allowing your patient to take only 4-6 tablets daily, rather than the 8-16 required by less potent formulas.
Gansu is:
- the largest raw material grower in China
- the largest exporter of Dang Gui and other key herbs
- one of the largest of four GMP certified facilities in China
Gansu’s Tanglong Products:
- are approved for use in hospitals and clinics in China
- meet California's strict FDA standards for heavy metals, bacteria and pesticide residue

Who came up with these formulas?
We are only using the ancient Chinese Patent formulas, most of which have been used for hundreds, if not thousands of years. We selected these formulas because of their notable safety and gentle action. Each of our formulas states its function and date of origin right on the bottle. For example, our Wu Ling Pian formula states, “Strengthening Bladder Function since 210 A.D.” None of the formulas prescribed are experimental or new.
Who decided which formulas to prescribe?
Ultimately, you as the practitioner decide which formulas to prescribe, based on the suggestions in the software. Dr. Nan Lu put the suggested prescription protocols together. Here’s some information about him:
